About Intermountain Camp
CDF Administrative Building
Lassen-Modoc-Plumas Unit

Intermountain Camp is operated by the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection and the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation and is one of 39 conservation camps statewide.  However, we feel that Intermountain Camp is unique.  The camp is located east of Redding, outside the community of Bieber in Lassen County.  It sits on a beautiful site, nestled in the pines at the base of Big Valley Mountain.

Intermountain Camp is an excellent resource for the local community and the state in emergency response and conservation work.  The camp also provides quality metal fabrication products to State of California agencies.  We are proud of who we are as a camp and the Department we represent.  So, take a moment to browse our site and see what we offer California.
